        Als gevolg van verraad door de bordeelhoudster Aldegonda Zeguers-Boere werden in mei 1944 ruim vijftig personen gearresteerd. (Cammaert VIb, vanaf pagina 649.) Voor Boere was een luxe leventje zeer belangrijk, maar een goed geweten blijkbaar niet zo zeer. Zij kwam voor haar zwarthandel-praktijken in de gevangenis en leerde zodoende de voor haar zeer nuttige Max Strobel kennen, het hoofd van de SiPo in Maastricht. Die vond van zijn kant deze dame met contacten in LO-kringen ook interessant en zo begonnen zij een relatie. Intussen bouwde zij ook haar bordeel verder op. Bij de LO deed zij, alsof zij op haar feestjes voor de Duitsers voor het verzet werkte. Het was de bedoeling van de Sicherheitspolizei, een val voor de verzetsmensen op te zetten. Door Zeguers-Boere wist de SiPo dat er twee bewakers in de gevangenis van Maastricht voor de LO werkten. Via deze nietsvermoedende bewakers werd „gelekt“ dat er binnenkort een gevangenentransport zou plaatsvinden. Die val mislukte door gebrekkige coördinatie aan de kant van het verzet, zij kwamen niet opdagen. Boere bemiddelde daarna bij onderhandelingen over de mogelijke vrijlating van enkele verzetsmensen. Daarbij werd bij haar thuis de Maastrichtse LO-leider Jo Lokerman gearresteerd, en dezelfd dag en de dag daarna nog ruim vijftig personen, onder wie een onderduiker die Zeguers-Boere in huis had genomen om zo de indruk te wekken dat ze volledig te vertrouwen was, alsook degene die de onderduiker bij haar had gebracht. De meeste arrestanten kwamen na enige tijd weer vrij. Als gevolg van het verraad van Zeguers-Boere kwamen de volgende personen om het leven:
