Theodore was the son of Jesse Wallizer and the German Margaret Stierstoffer. The Wallizers had four sons. Frank and Joseph were older than Theodore and the youngest, Dayton, was five years younger. Theodore was married to Pearl Fleetwood and lived in Cumberland, where he worked as an office clerk. On December 11, 1942, Theodore enlisted in the military service. Eventually, all four Wallizer brothers joined the army and were sent to Europe. Three of them came home unharmed. Only Theodore did not. He was seriously wounded during the fighting in Geulhem on Saturday, September 16, 1944, and died a day later.
