Johan Theodoor van Veldhoven

 06-08-1914 Heerlen      06-11-1942 Neuengamme (28)
- Nieuwenhagen - Communists & Sympathizers -

Jan van Veldhoven was a miner. Arrested on May 31, 1942. Reason: “Financial support to de Vonk (the Spark)”. [1]
. But according to Ad van Liempt, he was a more or less accidental reader of De Vonk and thus came into the focus of the Sipo. [2]
See for more info The Danger of Lists and Cammaert chapter X, Appendix VIII. Arrest of Communists and Radical Socialists 1940-1945. [3]
In his file at the OGS (war graves foundation), May 30, 1942 is given as the date of his arrest. Brought to Amersfoort. After that he was transported to Germany. [4]
This person is listed in the “Erelijst 1940-1945” (Honor Roll of the Dutch Parliament). [6]
