Het Grote Gebod – L.O.

Douwe de Vries was a policeman, he belonged to the LO and the KP in Echt. Died after the liberation, partly as a result of his resistance work. [1]
In the municipality of Ooststellingwerf, where he died after the war, he was a straw merchant.[2]
