Cornelis Johannes IJsbrand van ’t Woudt was a captain in the coastal artillery.
He was arrested for espionage on September 24, 1941 - sat in the "Oranjehotel", cell 640 until March 30 - transferred to Maastricht on April 24, 1942, where he was sentenced to death - taken away on May 9, 1942… [6] The trial of 24 OD people and others in Maastricht [3] is called the first OD trial. [4]
He and the other convicts were shot in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Oranienburg near Berlin.
